Great fun! Wonderful place to take a break from the highway. The next time you pass by, stop in and enjoy some old fashioned roadside amusement.

Simply unexplainable. Weird, funky, and fun. Crazy moving dioramas and delightfully strange taxidermy creations meet collections of junk, paint by numbers, pinball, homemade robots, and other crazy stuff. Bring quarters for the fortune teller and spend some time in the fabulous gift shop. You may leave with a cool Tee shirt, handpainted sign, dashboard Buddha, silver necklace, or alligator paw. Go.

Something for everyone but bring a sense of humor. If you've never stopped on the side of the road to pick through some one's garbage.... this place may not be for you. Be prepared to spend around a half hour. Great gift shop.

What an interesting collection! Fun and amusing. Meeting John was a pleasure and his late wife's jewelry is a pleasant surprise. The Ann O'Brien pieces will bring me back to the gift shop!

The best! Go! If you are anywhere near New Orleans, just make sure you don’t miss this place. It’s just one of those places that you have to see. I mean, who wouldn’t want to see Darrel, the Dogigator? It’s just a few dollars to get in and you take a self-guided tour, so you can stop and take as many pictures as you want...because believe me, you’ll want to take a lot of pictures. The owner was super nice and let us bring our dogs in! All four of them! They are well-behaved, but that was really the best. Then after we were done we told him were heading to Austin and he told us that we HAD to check out a certain restaurant while we were there (which we did and it was delicious!) Basically, this place is one of a kind, in the best way possible and it run by great people!
