It's also right along the Tammany Trace. Lots of parking nearby makes it a great spot to start your bike ride in the trace.

This has been a family favorite for years. Every time we visit from Kansas City Missouri we have at least one dinner or lots of beer here. The food is always as great as the brews.
Great place to bring the kids. There's a splash pad for them to cool off in and also a small playground. Always something going on here too. Sundays there's a farmer's market noon to 4 pm. Great restaurants nearby and also a couple of desert places to cool off with a snoball or ice cream cone.
I love this little park. They have so many great events there each year. There's a splash pad, a museum, a playground, and an amphitheater. The view from the second level of the 1884 Pavilion is lovely at sunset. The park is open sunrise to sunset and the museum is open Friday - Sunday.
